This AMG Roadster is our Unicorn… in that, in our 21 years of providing our members great driving experiences, we’ve never had a more unique and harder to get exotic that is as high in performance, and as good looking, as it is fun to drive!
The wider body (shared with the GT-R) and the never-ending hood gives this car the look of driving an off-shore cigarette boat! The color, Design Brilliant Blue Mango is a fairly rare factory paint that is neither a matte finish, nor a standard glossy finish – it’s a satin metallic blue that is as tough looking as it is gorgeous. We also had the originally silver wheels powder-coated in Ink-Black, which pair very well with the red brake calipers.
The saddle leather interior with brushed metal, carbon fiber, and Alcantara is the perfect match for the satin blue exterior. The AMG’s well-appointed interior with highly adjustable seats is also extremely comfortable.
The performance is all AMG… the 550+ horsepower, twin-turbocharged V8 Mercedes engine is paired AMG speed-shift 7-Speed DCT transmission, adaptive suspension, performance exhaust, electronic retractable rear spoiler, and dynamic sport, sport+, and race modes.
The high-end, upgraded, Burmeister surround sound system, the rear-wheel-steering, power-retractable convertible top (with glass-rear-window), driver and passenger heat-air-scarfs (for those cooler-weather top-down evenings), heated and cooled performance seats, and front & rear cameras just add to the experience.
